If you already hold a pre-registration
- Contact the Lead Registrant to request a copy of the SIP (Substance information Profile) also known as the Sameness Criteria
- Commission Substance Identification testing to confirm if your substance matches the SIP
- Purchase the Letter of Access (LoA) from the Lead Registrant – provided your substance meets the SIP.
If your substance does not meet the SIP you should check to see if your substance more closely matches a different substance already registered. Alternatively you may need to take on the role of a Lead Registrant and carry out a separate registration for your substance.

What if there is no Lead Registrant?
If no Lead Registrant exists for the substance you want to register you may need to take on the role yourself. This is an expensive process and will take several months to compile all the necessary testing data to submit a Lead Registrant dossier. Please contact us to discuss such scenarios on a case by case basis.
