We can contact your supply chain to collate information on their REACH status, compliance with RSLs (Restricted Substances Lists) such as ZDHC or other areas of interest.
The final REACH deadline has now passed (31/5/2018) and all substances manufactured or imported in quantities >1t per annum in the EU should hold a valid REACH registration.
As a downstream user (DSU) or distributor, it is your responsibility to check the registration status of all substances you place on the market both on their own and in mixtures.
Communicating REACH registration numbers:
Manufacturers and Importers should communicate registration numbers REACH status with DSUs and distributors.
Whilst there is a legal obligation for suppliers to communicate this information down the supply chain either in a SDS or in accordance with Article 32 REACH (where a SDS is not required) there is no specific timescale attached to this obligation.
Where information is required on many products from several suppliers, it can be a time consuming process to collate this information.
Our Supplier Audit service can be tailored to your specific needs and include questions on not only REACH but SVHC’s (Substances of Very High Concern), ZDHC and other industry regulations as appropriate to your business.
Our qualified staff can sense check and interrogate the response to ensure that the final information valid and accurate.
